Virtual, about three years to get a reservation to hike through an area with severe restrictions to protect it.
IRL, I waited with my cousin for a roller coaster for about three hours and I was pissed about it. Half the day at the park spent waiting for a single ride.
Was the area you hiked worth the wait?
Yes, and I’m extra glad I was able to do the hike when I did because they have since shut down access entirely for at least a few years to allow the ecosystem to heal itself after some assholes snuck in and caused damage.
The roller coaster definitely wasn’t worth it.
